Well, deleting Facebook was overall a good choice for my mental health but it has really really served to highlight how few friends I actually have. Like, people I can confide in versus people whose lives I just sort of keep up on and have a peripheral relationship with. Therefore, seclusion. Just wanted to take a second and say how frickin' lucky and happy I am to have Jon around. He is so great and I'm so proud of him for so many things. He's wonderful. <3

It irritates me that I can't seem to sleep in anymore. I wake up exhausted at 4:30 on workdays, and then on weekends I wake up at 5:30 and have to force myself back to sleep for another measly hour or so.

That said, I do love the early morning quiet time where I get to snuggle the puppy in bed and watch Jon sleep and read a book with a big cup of ( Read more... )

The ephemeral nature of friendships is really bumming me out right now.

Tasks completed today:
-Finished 'Rise of Empire'
-Got laid
-Took a nap
-Washed clothes
-Went to the grocery store
-Had Mexican for dinner, including fried ice cream
-Bought dog supplies
-Am currently failing to go to the gym. Whoops.

We decided to stay home from Duluth. It was a good choice. I was so tired.
